Sorting Set

Sorting Set - Lots of variety
If you are working on colors, counting, sorting, shapes, categories, patterns, and/or sequencing, this is the ultimate set. Manipulatives include vehicles, fruit, farm animals, dinosaurs, links, BINGO chips, bugs, small stacking caps, and shapes. I don't see bugs and stacking caps on the picture above, however there are many more items than are pictured in the tray. I love the 6 color-matching sorting bowls. My spinners are plastic and the ones in the picture look like cardboard. Spinners include color, number, and shape, and let you be creative and make up your own games. I have 13 pattern cards, with an activity on each side of the card, but I don't have the farm and link cards that are pictured, so evidently sets do vary somewhat. My cards are a nice weight and laminated. The die is numbered 1-6. There is a teacher's activity guide with numerous activities in it. This set offers lots and lots of options for fun play.

Try this:
  • Work on visual discrimination, figure ground, spatial relations, visual form constancy, in-hand manipulation, manual dexterity, pincer grasp, finger isolation, palmar arching, patterns, sequencing, counting, shapes, creative play, process skills, executive functioning skills, play exploration and participation
In the box: More than 620 sorting items, 3 spinners, die, sorting tray, pattern cards, 6 sorting bowls
